Tips and Tricks

Examples of CTRL keyboard commands:
*Note that "," indicates a transition into the next step, not a part of the particular command.

CTRL, A : Select All
CTRL, C : Copy
CTRL, V : Paste
CTRL, Z : Undo
CTRL, P: Print
CTRL, ESC: Open Start Menu
CTRL, SHIFT, ESC: Open Task Manager
CTRL, SHIFT with arrow key: Highlight portion of text.
CTRL, Up Arrow: Move mouse pointer to beginning of previous paragraph.
CTRL, Down Arrow: Move mouse pointer to beginning of next paragraph.
CTRL, Left Arrow: Move mouse pointer to beginning of previous word.
CTRL, Right Arrow: Move mouse pointer to beginning of next word
CTRL, when dragging item: Make shortcut to that item.
